Art Classes!

I offer painting and pottery classes for people of all skill levels. Treat yourself to some time creating with me and with other folks, just like you, who need an opportunity to get their minds calmed, their hands busy, and their hearts full with festive art time. Most classes take place at the Montana Makers Space located in the historic Virginia City Schoolhouse at 313 E Idaho ST, Virginia City.

Beginning Wheel-Throwing

I offer a 6-session course for beginning potters. An introduction to wheel-throwing, this course can be scheduled entirely at your convenience and will teach you basic foundational skills for working with clay, creating cups and bowls, decorating, and firing. All supplies are included in this course.

Intermediate Wheel-Throwing

This 8-session course takes the beginning potter to new levels with attention to form and function, learning to throw larger pieces, altering the form, and adding handles. More attention is offered to planning for design and glaze decoration techniques. All supplies are included in this course.

Private Painting Lessons

I’m available for private and small group painting lessons in oil or acrylic at the rate of $60/hour/person, booked at your convenience using your own supplies. Please call to arrange dates and times. I am also available for larger groups - please contact me for pricing and to coordinate.
